Meridian Charter Schools seeks an Assistant Principal to partner with the Principal in driving academic outcomes, equity, and community engagement across Chicago campuses. Travel to campuses is required and the role emphasizes instructional leadership and operations oversight.

The ideal candidate holds an active PEL with ISBE Principal Endorsement, a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Education, and at least 3 years of leadership experience in education.

Qualifications

• Active PEL certification and ISBE Principal Endorsement required.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Education preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in an educational setting.
• Fluency in English; bilingual Spanish and English strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead a campus with the Principal to improve academic outcomes and equity.
• Oversee curriculum, instruction, assessment, and school operations.
• Coach and evaluate staff; manage budgets, schedules, and compliance.
• Engage families and communities to support student success.
