Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas Teacher certificate at the appropriate level or Accepted in an ACP and prerequisites passed.
• Experience with diverse student populations preferred.
• Bilingual fluency is beneficial in some settings.

Responsibilities

• Teach standards-based curriculum with rigorous instruction and measurable objectives.
• Monitor progress and differentiate instruction to meet student needs.
• Develop instructional units and project-based learning opportunities.
• Assess student mastery using multiple tools and documentation.
• Maintain attendance, grade reports, and state/local assessment records.
• Apply effective classroom management to maximize learning time.
• Engage parents through conferences and ongoing communication.
