Job summary

Chelsea Public Schools in Chelsea, MA is seeking After-School Program Educators for REACH at Chelsea High School. These roles mentor students, manage attendance, and support academic and social-emotional learning after school.

Hours are 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Monday to Thursday, with pay between $25 and $37 per hour based on qualifications and CTU membership. Bi-lingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: two years college completion.
• Current college students are encouraged to apply.
• Bi-Lingual/ multilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required

Responsibilities

• Design and lead activities to build group pride and identity.
• Assist tutors with homework responsibilities.
• Attend weekly staff meetings to debrief and plan for activities.
• Build relationships with families through weekly phone calls.
• Tracking student attendance
• Supporting students academically
• Creating activities for project-based and social-emotional learning
• Encourage students to participate in activities
• Connect with parents
