Job summary

University Health Careers seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to provide safe medical transport for high-risk obstetric patients via air or ground ambulance. The role requires 2 years of Labor & Delivery or ICU experience, current NRP/BLS/ACLS certifications, and Texas RN licensure. BSN preferred.

The nurse will work within a mobile high-risk obstetrical system, acting as a clinical mentor and resource for women’s health colleagues across the region.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery or related ICU experience.
• Current NRP, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Texas RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, specialized medical transport via air or ground ambulance for high-risk obstetric patients and those needing higher level of care.
• Utilize established protocols within a mobile high-risk obstetrical system.
• Serve as a clinical role model, expert resource, and mentor for women’s health colleagues within the organization and region.
