Job summary

University Health Careers seeks a qualified Registered Nurse to join its maternal transport team. You will provide safe, specialized medical transport via air (rotor or fixed wing) or ground ambulance for high-risk obstetric patients and those requiring higher level of care.

The role emphasizes critical thinking, adherence to protocols, and collaboration with obstetric and regional teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes across the mobile high-risk obstetrical system.

Qualifications

• RN with 2 years of Labor & Delivery or related ICU experience.
• Current NRP, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, specialized medical transport via air (rotor or fixed wing) or ground ambulance for high-risk obstetric patients, obstetric patients transferred to higher level of care due to fetal indications, or the delivered mother needing higher level of care.
• Act as a clinical role model, resource and mentor for women’s health colleagues within the organization and region.
