Job summary

Dignity Health’s Pacific Central Coast Health Centers in Oxnard, CA seek a Sonographer to perform diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound, including high-risk OB exams, while explaining procedures to patients and ensuring comfort and safety. You will operate ultrasound systems, process images with PACS, and present preliminary findings to physicians.

Required two years of OB ultrasound experience, CPR, and demonstrated proficiency in US-guided fetal procedures.

Qualifications

• Two years high-risk/level II OB ultrasound experience
• Experience with US-guided invasive fetal procedures including amniocentesis and CVS
• Basic Life Support (CPR)
• One of the following certifications: ARDMS/CCI/other registered sonography credentials

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound per physician orders
• Operate ultrasound equipment and accessories
• Demonstrate competency in imaging processing procedures (PACS)
• Identify and initiate assessment of life-threatening conditions
• Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate with service personnel
• Charge exams and maintain logs daily
