Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital is recruiting a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, Magnet-recognized facility in Cleveland. You’ll work a rotating day/night schedule from 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m., with weekend and holiday requirements.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree and active RN licensure, with BLS and ACLS as applicable. One year of acute care experience or licensed military RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program and obtain RN licensure.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS certification if in a Critical Care area.
• One year of current acute care RN experience or licensed military RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
