Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Missouri seeks a Nursing role on a High- risk Cardiology unit. The unit operates 3x12hr shifts over a 36-hour weekly schedule with flexible scheduling and relocation assistance available.

Under manager direction, the nurse plans, directs, and coordinates unit activities, provides direct patient care, and serves as a clinical resource to nursing staff. RN license and 2–5 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's required.
• RN license required.
• 2-5 years of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates identification and resolution of gaps in care from hospitalization, at discharge, and into the ambulatory care setting.
• Leads the development and implementation of complex plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with interprofessional team, patient, and family.
• Supports adherence to evidence-based practices and promotes practice improvements through literature review and education.
• Monitors patient and family experience to improve satisfaction and quality of care.
