Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a registered nurse to join a high-risk cardiology care team in a hospital setting. You will provide direct patient care, perform comprehensive assessments, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, evidence-based practice.

The role emphasizes patient and family education on illness management, medications, and post-treatment care, while contributing to safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance within a Magnet-recognized hospital

Qualifications

• RN license current.
• No experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Job description

Provides direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, focusing on patients with myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, and pulmonary hypertension.

Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within established standards.

Promotes patient and family-centered care through education on illness management, medication administration, and post-treatment care.

Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.

Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care settings.

Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Licenses & Certifications: Current RN license
• Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred
