Job summary

MEP Health seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit in Valley Park, MO. You will manage patients with CAD, HTN, arrhythmias, and heart failure, develop care plans, educate families, and ensure safety and quality care.

Requires RN license and Nursing Diploma or ADN; Bachelor's degree and less than two years' experience preferred. BLS, ACLS, and EKG certs are required. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits offered.

Job description

Role: Provides direct patient care as a Registered Nurse in a high-risk cardiology unit, managing patients with various cardiac conditions such as CAD, HTN, arrhythmias, and heart failure.

Responsibilities: Develops and implements individualized care plans, collaborates with the healthcare team, educates patients and families on managing their condition, and promotes patient safety and quality care. Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations. Ensures clear communication across care continuum and participates in professional development activities. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications: Requires an RN license and a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree; Bachelor’s degree and less than two years of experience preferred. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and EKG are necessary. No supervisory experience required.
