Job summary

Centurion Selection is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Senior Project Manager on a 28-story multifamily project in downtown Miami. You will help with planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with subcontractors to keep the project on track.

This role emphasizes collaboration, adherence to budgets, quality, and safety, and requires strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Procore and MS Project is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction management or project coordination for a General Contractor, preferably multifamily.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project planning, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Support the Project Manager in coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Deal with RFIs, change orders, submittals.
• Monitor project progress and report on status to the Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Participate in project meetings and document minutes and action items.
• Assist in preparing project documentation, including contracts and reports.
• Help manage project budgets and track expenses.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure quality control measures are in place.
• Assist in resolving issues and mitigating risks that may impact project delivery.
