Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Bedford Park, IL is seeking an on-site High Reach Case Picker. You will perform order picking using high reach forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring accurate lot numbers and proper storage conditions.

The role requires strict adherence to safety standards and the ability to work in extreme temperatures. Candidates must have at least 2 years of high reach forklift experience, be able to lift 40 lbs, and work flexible shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to give voice commands in English may be required.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage wearing PPE.
• Must lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs; weight may vary by facility.
• Flexible schedule and shifts, including weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-use inspection on pallet jack equipment.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Open boxes and containers when necessary.
• Pick products and ensure correct lot numbers and codes.
• Record material amounts using site equipment to update inventory.
• Arrange stock parts in specific order for assembly.
• Communicate damaged products to inventory or supervisor.
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.
