Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Hobart, Indiana, is seeking a stand-up reach forklift operator to move products, equipment, and materials in compliance with safety standards. You will put away palletized units, pick for outbound shipments, record weights and counts via RF, load/unload pallets, and perform daily forklift checks. Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to understand instructions in the local language.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends if needed.
• Must be comfortable with varying noise levels.
• Ability to work in cold/hot storage environments with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height.
• Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and prepare for outbound shipment.
• Record materials, weight, counts, and condition via RF system.
• Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheets.
• Monitor battery charge and maintain equipment cleanliness and charging station.
