Job summary

Kelso Industries is seeking an Industrial Technician - Passivation to support High Purity projects. The role involves equipment setup, chemical handling, flushing operations, and jobsite maintenance across Georgia and travel to various project locations.

Training may occur in Lucedale; $200 per diem is provided. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, strong mechanical aptitude, safety mindset, and willingness to travel for assignments and overnight stays.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Willingness and ability to travel for project assignments, including overnight travel when necessary.
Valid driver's license required.
Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to pass required pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of High Purity and Passivation equipment and systems.
Handle hoses, pumps, filtration systems, tanks, piping, and other project-related equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist in the mixing, transferring, and handling of approved chemicals while following safety procedures and environmental regulations.
Support flushing, passivation, preservation, and other high-purity system cleaning activities under direction of project leadership.
Monitor equipment performance and report concerns to supervisors promptly.
