Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an assembler/tester for our Erie, PA facility to support valve and systems manufacturing. You will review drawings, pull parts, and etch components as part of preparing high-pressure equipment for testing.

You will assemble and test pressurized equipment, operate a test bench, inspect components for quality, and collaborate with teammates to meet production goals. Parker offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with assembly and testing procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve leak issues.
• Familiarity with software programs used in manufacturing.
• Ability to work on complex parts and various materials.
• Experience assembling high-pressure equipment.
• Good interpersonal skills and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering drawings to verify parts, etching, torque and test procedures.
• Locate and pull parts listed on the assembly order and etch valve bodies.
• Visually inspect components for burrs, finishes and correct etching.
• Assemble and test pressurized equipment.
• Operate a test bench.
• Maintain equipment and keep a clean work area.
• May train, direct or assist other employees.
• Handle other duties as requested by management.
