Job summary

EMCOR Services Mesa Energy is seeking an experienced boiler technician to maintain daily boiler operations for commercial HVAC systems. The role requires hands-on maintenance, precise record-keeping, and adherence to safety protocols.

Based in Huntington Beach, CA, you will collaborate with other trades, respond to emergency calls, and support tuning, testing, and inspections of boiler equipment. A 4-year apprenticeship or technical schooling and 5+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have completed 4-year apprenticeship program or technical schooling.
• Must have 5+ years of commercial air conditioning experience.
• Must be available for emergency call outs.
• Must be a team player and able to work with other trades and client’s staff.
• EMS experience a plus (Staefa/Siemens).
• Valid driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily operations of boilers.
• Complete daily checks and maintain necessary operating records.
• Perform PM maintenance and repairs to boilers and associated equipment.
• Perform monthly testing of all safeties.
• Complete annual tuning and inspections of boilers.
• Monitor chemical feeds for boiler systems.

Geographic Disclosure

Compensation Range: $48.41 - $65.49 per hour

The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results. Benefits are provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement.
