About Tier 1 Performance

Tier 1 Performance is a nationally recognized tennis academy with locations at Woodinville Sports Club in Washington and Beaverton Sports Club in Oregon. We are expanding our coaching team and seeking dedicated coaches to help develop some of the nation’s top junior players. Our system combines technical and tactical development, purposeful live-ball training, athletic preparation and individualized plans within a connected junior pathway. This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced coaches, take ownership of player development and contribute to a growing high-performance program.

Key Responsibilities

At Beaverton, you will help grow our junior development program, with meaningful responsibility for academy groups, individual players, parent relationships and a strong training culture. You will work within Tier 1’s coaching methodology, with access to our directors and senior coaches across both locations.

  • Independently lead academy groups across the junior pathway, from foundational training through high-performance yellow ball.
  • Design purposeful sessions, assess players and manage individual development plans.
  • Teach private lessons and communicate proactively with parents about progress, placement and expectations.
  • Help develop the competitive calendar and support tournament preparation, travel and post-match review.
  • Contribute to evaluations, group formation, school relationships, open houses and clinic days.
  • Collaborate with fellow coaches and support adult clinics and lessons as needed.
Required Experience
  • At least three years coaching juniors, including independently leading competitive groups.
  • Collegiate, professional or high-level national junior playing experience.
  • Concrete player-development results you can explain.
  • Initiative, organization, professional parent communication and commitment to a shared coaching system.
