Job summary

Tier 1 Performance is hiring full-time high performance tennis coaches for Woodinville, WA and Beaverton, OR. You will lead Tier 1 academy groups, manage private lessons, and develop players while traveling to tournaments with the program's coaches.

You'll drive development from red balls to full-time academy athletes, write development plans, and own parent communications. The role emphasizes junior progression, teamwork, and long-term coach integration.

Qualifications

• Three or more years coaching junior tennis.
• Competitive playing experience at college/pro/high-level junior.
• Proven player-development results you can explain (UTR, varsity, college commitments).
• Clear communication and team‑oriented mindset.
• Availability for weekdays, weekends, camps, and travel. Woodinville role includes early mornings.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; valid driver’s license for Beaverton role.
• PTR, USPTA/RSPA, or GPTCA certification valued.

Responsibilities

• Plan and independently lead academy groups across red to yellow ball with Tier 1 methodology.
• Write development plans and conduct player assessments, advancing athletes through the pathway.
• Maintain private lesson and player-management book; support adult clinics as needed.
• Travel to tournaments with the Director of Tennis and provide match preparation and reviews.
• Engage with parents about placement, progress, and timelines.
• Contribute to group formation, coach meetings, and staff development.
• In Beaverton, help grow school/ university relationships and clinics.
