Job summary

Alpha seeks Elite Sports Mentors to motivate, coach, and enforce elite standards in a 1-on-1 and small-group setting. The AI-driven system handles instruction while mentors drive performance, life-skill mastery, and daily culture across campuses.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, a track record of exceptional achievement, 3+ years in youth coaching or leadership, and willingness to work in-person at multiple California and East Coast campuses, including Greenwich, CT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least one documented instance of exceptional achievement in a highly selective field.
• At least 3 years of experience in student coaching, youth mentoring, athletic coaching, or leadership roles.
• Willing to work in-person at an Alpha campus in Orange County, CA; Palo Alto, CA; San Francisco, CA; South Bay, CA; Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; Boston, MA; New York City, NY; or Kirkland (Seattle), WA (relocation support provided).
• Legal right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conducting 1-on-1 and small-group coaching using Coachbot analytics and student performance data to identify obstacles, establish stretch goals, and ensure accountability
• Facilitating structured life-skills workshops centered on mastery, drawing on authentic stories from your own elite background, and evaluating mastery via Alpha's Test2Pass framework
• Establishing the daily cultural standard through focused morning kickoffs that reinforce high-performance norms across campus
• Monitoring student progress continuously and recalibrating coaching approaches using data, not intuition
• Cultivating trusted mentor relationships with students and families by maintaining high expectations, consistency, and documented motivational strategies
