In-N-Out Burgers, Inc. seeks a Snyder Garage Collection Department Manager to lead our performance automotive team in Franklin, TN.

You will oversee maintenance, transportation, safety, and readiness of race vehicles and fleet personnel, ensuring high standards of reliability and safety. This role requires a background in motorsports, automotive maintenance, and team development with strong leadership, budgeting, and vendor-management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in team management, motorsports operations, automotive maintenance, or related field.
• Experience with classic cars and working on engines.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance programs, fleet operations, and transportation logistics.
• Experience working with a race crew or as a driver.
• Experience managing budgets, vendor contracts, and operational planning.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and fleet management software systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of mechanics, technicians, and support staff.
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and lifecycle management of race support and vehicles.
• Establish preventive maintenance programs to maximize uptime and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with transportation, environmental, and safety regulations.
• Develop and manage department budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditures.
• Analyze performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with internal departments to support fleet utilization strategies.
• Manage relationships with family, vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers.
• Evaluate new technologies, equipment, and maintenance practices for fleet operations.
• Lead emergency response and vehicle recovery efforts when necessary.
• Maintain detailed records and reporting systems for fleet activities.
• Champion a culture of safety, service excellence, and integrity.
