RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks an on-site System Administrator, HPC Analyst, to administer Windows and Red Hat Linux environments, manage server services, and support DoD-grade cybersecurity requirements.

Ideal candidates will have a related bachelor’s degree, security clearance, and hands-on scripting and HPC scheduling experience within a fast-paced defense tech setting.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and less than 2 years of relevant experience or a total of 4 years relevant technical experience in IT or Digital Technology.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience in Windows and/or Linux Server Environments including directory services management, and system hardening.

This Analyst (P1) level, High-Performance Computing (HPC) candidate will provide Raytheon Digital Technology with High Performance Computing Administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment. This candidate will understand Windows Server internals, and knowledge of Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods. This position is an onsite role in our Tucson, Arizona location. Relocation support will be provided to the selected applicant, if they meet company policy eligibility requirements at this level (Limited P1 support).

• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Experience with High Performance Computing scheduling and monitoring tools.
• An active DoD Secret or Top-Secret Clearance.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Windows and Unix security hardening, systems integrations, advanced troubleshooting, and authentication service integration (LDAP).
• Unix (Including Linux and Solaris), experience in a medium to high complex environment(s).
• Working knowledge of High-Performance Computing scheduling and monitoring tools such as SLURM, Grid Engine and Ganglia.

Relocation Eligibility – This role is relocation eligible on a very limited basis (partial support) for those outside the Tucson, AZ area.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
