Lerch Bates is seeking a Building Enclosure Designer to advance high‑quality enclosure solutions across modern and historic projects. You will translate complex concepts into coordinated, constructable designs and details using Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in architectural drafting, construction document production, or enclosure detailing.
• Proficiency with Revit, Rhino, Bluebeam, MS Office, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Ability to read and develop architectural drawings, wall sections, details, elevations, plans, and specs.
• Strong drafting, modeling, documentation, and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate, detailed work products using Revit, Bluebeam, Rhino, and Microsoft Office.
• Develop enclosure system assemblies across façades, glazing, curtain walls, roofing, and waterproofing.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure coordinated, constructable design solutions.
• Support construction administration, field observations, and documentation.
• Stay current with building science practices and code requirements.
