PTG is seeking a Test Technician in Mooresville, NC to execute automotive performance tests and maintain advanced lab test systems. You will ensure sensors and equipment operate correctly, calibrate systems, and document results within a team focused on precision and reliability.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level to mid-level experience in a technical testing or automotive environment.
• Basic understanding of electronics, sensors, and calibrations.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes) and calibration equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document tests on high-performance vehicles and components.
• Confirm test equipment and sensors are calibrated and functioning correctly.
• Operate wind tunnel and 7-post vehicle dynamics rig.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and electronic test equipment.
• Record results and maintenance logs; read wiring schematics and drawings.
• Use MATLAB for data analysis and process optimization.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve testing processes.
