Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a High Net Worth Tax Managing Director to lead our private wealth practice for wealthy individuals, family offices, and private businesses. You will work with firm leadership, mentor staff and deliver advanced tax planning and compliance services.

Successful candidates hold a CPA or JD, have 8+ years in tax planning and 4+ years of supervisory experience, and must be eligible to work in the U.S. Travel as needed; compensation range is $201,810 to $382,600.

Qualifications

• Eight (8)+ years’ experience in tax planning and consulting for wealthy individuals, family members and their trusts, investment entities, and private businesses.
• Four (4)+ years supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates.
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, and stay current with applicable strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational families, family offices and their private businesses/investment entities.
• Manage client engagements, staffing, billings/collections and profitability targets.
• Network to acquire new clients and opportunities; participate in firm-wide development programs.
