Tyson Foods in Edwardsville, KS is seeking a High Lift Operator for the D shift to operate a hi-lift forklift in a refrigerated warehouse at –10° to 30°F. You will gather cases, move pallets, and use a handheld scanner to track products during loading, unloading and transport.

The role requires 1 year of forklift/warehouse experience, some cold storage preference, and the ability to lift up to 70–90 lbs. Cross-training and safety guidelines are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 1 year of forklift and warehouse experience with a single employer in the last 5 years.
• Cold storage experience preferred.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 70 lbs and occasionally 90 lbs.
• Must pass post-offer health assessment and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Job Details:Job DescriptionHigh Lift Operator: D shift (Edwardsville, KS)SummaryNotice: This position involves operating a forklift for gathering cases of beef/pork product throughout a refrigerated warehouse with temperatures ranging from -10° to 30°F.This position requires pulling down and putting away pallets in the warehouse rack system using a hi-lift forklift. The operator will be directed to remove plastic wrap on occasion prior to depositing pallets. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling and reaching are involved. Other duties assigned by management.ResponsibilitiesDuring your work shift, which will consist of (12) hours, you must be willing to move around the work area at a fast pace and willing to bend, squat, lift, push, pull, up to (40) pounds.
