Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager for HomeGoods in Coon Rapids, MN. You will lead a large team, oversee all store operations, and drive sales while controlling costs in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll recruit and develop Associates and Assistant Managers, implement sales plans, and focus on Loss Prevention. A strong leader with Excellent communication will foster a positive customer experience and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of retail experience as Store or District Manager in dynamic, high-volume environments.
• Proven ability to manage, develop, and motivate a large team with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership focused on collaboration, problem-solving, and empowering diverse teams to make effective decisions.
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills, with mentoring and feedback abilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of store operations including customer service, merchandising, people management, health and safety, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of store operations to boost sales, control expenses, and minimize shrink and damages, including merchandising, backroom, frontline, cash office, customer service, markdowns, scheduling, shipping, and receiving.
• Recruit, train, develop, and manage a large team of Associates and Assistant Managers; mentor Store Managers for future promotions.
• Develop and implement creative plans to increase store sales and advise the District Manager on merchandise mix, inventory, and customer demographics.
• Focus staff on Loss Prevention priorities and ensure compliance with company programs and policies; review store reports, conduct walkthroughs, audits, and meetings.
• Ensure every customer has a positive shopping experience by maintaining high standards in customer service and merchandise presentation; communicate action plans for store initiatives.
