Qualifications

• Proven experience with SQL and relational databases across complex workloads.
• Experience with views, functions, procedures, migrations, and version control.
• Ability to read execution plans and optimize queries and indexes.
• Understand permissions, secure coding, and transactional integrity.
• Experience collaborating with application, data, architecture, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Write SQL queries, views, materialized views, functions, and procedures.
• Design schema migrations, indexes, constraints, partitions, and reference data.
• Test data-access layers for applications, reports, integrations, and analytical workloads.
• Query-performance improvements based on execution plans, workload evidence, and data distribution.
• Version-controlled database changes, automated tests, deployment checks, and rollback plans.
