Job summary

Westlake is seeking a Production Superintendent to lead daily manufacturing operations in a high‑volume extrusion department. This hands‑on leadership role affects safety, performance, and employee engagement, and offers growth opportunities in a visible position.

You will own production execution across shifts, develop supervisors, and collaborate with Operations leadership to solve problems and improve performance, while building a strong safety culture and accountability.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production execution across multiple shifts to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.
• Set priorities, allocate resources, and adjust schedules to meet changing demands.
• Drive accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the department.
• Analyze production data, identify gaps, and lead process improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and HR to support staffing, training, and performance.
• Lead and develop supervisors and production teams across multiple shifts.
