Job summary

You will prepare samples, conduct tests, and record results to support manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with quality control, production, and engineering to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements, maintain test equipment calibration, and uphold safety and data integrity standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing environment, especially testing or QC.
• Capable with tools common to mechanical/manufacturing trades.
• Ability to work under time constraints.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or assist in preparation of test procedures, set-ups, data sheets and reports.
• Conduct a wide variety of environmental and functional tests for product evaluation and development.
• Accurately control and document test procedures and results.
• Maintain a safe, clean testing environment.
• Verify calibration of test equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Collaborate with quality control, production and engineering to troubleshoot and improve tests.
• Record test setups, results and conclusions; maintain permanent records.
• Assist with prototype manufacture or special test configurations as needed.
• Ensure data integrity and proper interpretation of test results.
