Job summary

Collaborate with quality control, production and engineering to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Experience in manufacturing, testing or quality control preferred.
• Ability to use tools common to mechanical/manufacturing trades.
• Ability to work under time constraints and with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and analytical/problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental and functional tests for new product evaluation and general lab support.
• Prepare test procedures, setup data sheets and test reports.
• Accurately control tests and maintain a safe testing environment.
• Record test setups, results and conclusions; maintain permanent records.
• Ensure calibration of all test equipment and advise when calibrations are needed.
• Maintain lab equipment, instruments and data acquisition hardware.
• Collaborate with quality control, production and engineering to troubleshoot and improve lab processes.
