Job summary

Nyla Technology Solutions seeks a Software Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance high-performance software systems across defense and intelligence missions. You will work with agile teams on processing-intensive analytics and real-time data pipelines.

The role requires TS/SCI polygraph clearance and 7+ years of related experience (or 11+ years with HS). Nyla offers a comprehensive benefits package, competitive compensation in Maryland, and Nyla FLEX for flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Mathematics, or related technical discipline plus 7+ years of experience in data science, NLP, or software engineering OR High School Diploma/GED plus 11+ years of specialized technical experience.
Experience with cloud-native microservices and distributed data processing frameworks is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, maintain, and enhance high-performance software systems for defense and intelligence missions.
Participate in system architecture discussions and evaluate hardware/software trade-offs to drive code reuse and use of COTS/GOTS solutions.
Ensure rigorous software testing and quality standards, including unit/integration testing and issue resolution.
