Job summary

Nyla Technology Solutions seeks a versatile Level 2 Software Engineer to design, maintain, and enhance mission-critical software systems. You will tackle processing-intensive analytics, drive algorithm development, and work across cloud, real-time, and event-driven architectures on Unix platforms.

An active TS/SCI polygraph is required. The annual base salary ranges from $178,000 to $210,000 USD, with discretionary bonus potential and a comprehensive Nyla benefits package including Nyla FLEX,

Qualifications

• Experience across full software lifecycle with complex systems.
• Unix development and scripting proficiency.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, C++, C, Ruby, Perl, or JavaScript with Git.
• Experience with Agile processes and CI/CD.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Ability to evaluate trade-offs and integrate OSS/COTS/GOTS.
• Knowledge of CM tools and Web Services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software across the lifecycle.
• Work in Unix environments and containerize applications.
• Collaborate with systems engineers and guide small teams.
• Translate user requirements into performant code.
• Deploy on Unix platforms.
