Zusammenfassung

KBR is seeking a High Energy Laser Systems Technician to support assembly, integration, production, testing, and fielded HEL systems. You will work with laser hardware, power distribution, thermal management, and related subsystems, collaborating with engineers and production teams to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with electrical/mechanical systems, read engineering drawings, and can operate lab and field test equipment. U.S.

Qualifikationen

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in electrical/mechanical technology.
• Experience assembling, integrating, testing, and troubleshooting complex systems.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical test equipment.

Aufgaben

• Assemble, integrate, and maintain HEL hardware and subsystems.
• Support production, inspections, configuration management and documentation.
• Install, route, terminate, and troubleshoot wiring and interfaces.
• Support power distribution, energy storage, and thermal management equipment.
• Execute test procedures and assist developmental, qualification, and acceptance tests.
• Operate test instrumentation and document performance data.
• Troubleshoot hardware and system-level issues and support root-cause investigations.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on lab, production, and fielded equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and laser safety requirements.
