Job summary

VASA Fitness is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) to lead energetic group classes and empower members through high-energy coaching. In this role, you will deliver safe, engaging workouts, promote the Uplift experience, and foster a welcoming community for participants of all fitness levels.

You will work in a dynamic fitness facility, collaborate with teammates, and uphold VASA’s standards. This position emphasizes excellence, teamwork, and member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of experience in personal training, small group training or group fitness.
• NCCA-accredited Personal Training or Group Fitness Certification.
• Current CPR/AED Certification.
• Yoga Certification (200 or 500 Hour RYT).
• Cycle Certifications (Schwinn, Spinning, Beatboss, AFAA Indoor Cycling).
• Must hold current certification for applicable format.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional fitness experiences in group classes aligned with VASA Uplift core values.
• Ensure VUME (Vasa Uplift Member Experience) is executed in every class.
• Be punctual and prepared; greet members at the door.
• Demonstrate exercises safely and monitor class performance.
• Complete post-class duties: clean, sanitize, and organize space.
• Be approachable, professional, and engaging; respond to member needs.
