Job summary

VASA Fitness is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) to deliver high-energy, inclusive classes with a focus on uplifting members and building community. This role offers hourly pay and health benefits for qualifying hours, plus gym memberships for employees.

You will be part of a team that values integrity, energy, and customer service. The role requires relevant certifications, CPR/AED, and experience in leading group classes; familiarity with various formats is preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of experience in personal, small group, or group fitness training.
• NCCA-accredited Personal Training or Group Fitness Certification.
• CPR/AED certification current.
• Yoga Certification (200 or 500 Hour RYT).
• Cycle Certifications (Schwinn, Spinning, Beatboss, AFAA Indoor Cycling).
• Must hold current certification for applicable format.
• Ability to lead, coach, and engage a group.
• Willingness to travel locally for support/training if needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-energy, inclusive group fitness classes.
• Ensure class safety and modify options for all levels.
• Promote classes to maintain participation and recruit new members.
• Maintain equipment and studio cleanliness between sessions.
