Job summary

7th Street Burger is hiring both part-time and full-time cashiers in New York. You will greet customers, enter orders into the POS, handle payments, and help keep the counter and lobby clean during busy hours.

We’re a growing brand with 30+ locations and offer weekly pay, free meals, benefits for full-time staff, and opportunities to grow as we expand in the Northeast. Flexible availability and strong customer service are a must.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or retail environment.
• Cash handling and customer service experience.
• Food handler certification is a plus (we will help you get certified).

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer and create a welcoming, high-energy experience
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently
• Count and close out the register at open and close
• Keep the counter, lobby, and garbage areas clean throughout your shift
• Communicate with the cooks to ensure order accuracy and speed
• Support your teammates and jump in wherever the shift needs you
