7th Street Burger is hiring both part-time and full-time cashiers in New York. You are the face of the shop, greeting customers, taking orders, and keeping energy high as orders fly. The pay rate is $17.50 per hour plus tips, with many shifts open until 3:00am.

We value a friendly, reliable attitude, cash handling and strong customer service. Experience in fast-paced settings is preferred, and food handler certification is a plus—we'll help you get certified.

Qualifications

• Positive, customer-first attitude and reliable attendance.
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Food handler certification is a plus (we will help you get certified).
• Flexible availability for late nights (most shops are open until 3:00am), weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a welcoming, high-energy experience.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system.
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently.
• Count and close out the register at open and close.
• Keep the counter, lobby, and garbage areas clean throughout your shift.
• Communicate with the cooks to ensure order accuracy and speed.
• Support your teammates and jump in wherever the shift needs you.
