7th Street Burger Lower East Side is seeking energetic cashiers to be the face of our fast-paced shops in New York City. You'll greet customers, handle cash and card payments, enter orders, and ensure quick, accurate service while maintaining a clean, friendly environment.

We offer both part-time and full-time positions with opportunities for growth as we expand our locations. Competitive pay at $17.50 per hour plus tips, plus a robust benefits package for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or retail setting.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Food handler certification is a plus (we will help you get certified).
• Flexible availability for late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer and create a welcoming, high-energy experience.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system.
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently.
• Count and close out the register at open and close.
• Keep the counter, lobby, and garbage areas clean throughout your shift.
• Communicate with the cooks to ensure order accuracy and speed.
• Support your teammates and jump in wherever the shift needs you.
