Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking energetic bartenders for The Dome in Virginia Beach. You will deliver fast, friendly service, craft cocktails and manage beverage sales in a high-volume setting during events. A valid alcohol certification is required, and tips are included with an hourly wage.

Part-time positions offer 401(k) savings and matching. The Dome is a premier venue, and you’ll be part of a team providing exceptional guest experiences during concerts and events.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a high-volume venue is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine and spirits. Exceptional multitasking and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks quickly and accurately.
• Engage with guests professionally to create a welcoming atmosphere and drive sales.
• Recommend premium drinks and specialty cocktails to enhance guest experience.
• Process transactions efficiently using the venue’s POS system and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Stock and maintain bar area before, during, and after shifts.
• Follow all beverage service laws and venue policies, including checking IDs.
• Work with staff to ensure seamless service during events.
• Maintain health and safety standards at all times.
