Qualifications

• Previous automotive sales and/or sales management experience.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop a sales team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Goal-oriented with a passion for sales and achieving results.
• Strong understanding of the automotive sales process.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Positive, energetic personality with a passion for people and leadership.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop the sales team to achieve individual and dealership goals.
• Create a positive, energetic, and team-oriented sales environment.
• Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable for performance.
• Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development to sales team members.
• Assist sales consultants with customer interactions, negotiations, and closing deals.
• Monitor daily, monthly, and annual sales performance and develop strategies to achieve goals.
• Drive sales volume, profitability, customer retention, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain strong knowledge of current vehicle products, features, incentives, and programs.
• Monitor inventory and ensure vehicles are properly displayed, priced, and merchandised.
• Stay informed on market conditions, competition, and customer demand.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
• Work collaboratively with Finance, Service, Parts, and other dealership departments.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and take action to address concerns and improve the customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws governing automotive sales.
• Participate in manager meetings, training, and Automotive Group initiatives as requested.
• Lead by example and be willing to jump in and support the team when needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
