Job summary

Brains and Motion Education is seeking a high-energy After School - Youth Program Instructor to lead STEAM projects, arts, and active games for K–8 students at local schools in California. You will facilitate daily homework sessions, supervise groups, ensure safety, and transport/setup materials.

Requires 48 college units, 1–2 years youth instruction, Live Scan clearance, reliable transportation, and afternoon availability 1:00 PM–6:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 48 college semester units or higher education.
• 1–2 years of experience instructing or mentoring youth in STEM, arts, or athletic settings.
• Proven ability to manage groups of K–8 students and foster positive behavior.
• Clearance: Live Scan/background check required.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured STEAM experiments, hands‑on art projects, and active games.
• Facilitate daily homework sessions and assist students with assignments.
• Maintain supervision and a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
• Prepare, transport, set up and clean up program materials daily.
