Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking an experienced Body Repair Paint Technician to develop and enhance a best-in-class collision repair program. This role involves hands-on body work, disassembly/reassembly, and paint operations as part of a growing team strength.

You will validate paint codes, work with 3rd party shops, and ensure PPE and safety standards are followed while supporting the Body Repair Department in a fast-paced, innovative environment with Lucid’s premium mobility platforms.

Qualifications

• 2+ years refinishing experience
• 2+ years body or R&R experience
• Experience with high-end vehicles is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Report to the Body Repair Paint manager.
• De-trimming and labeling parts.
• Perform body and refinishing repairs on vehicles.
• Validate paint codes and variance formulas for third-party network.
• Assist 3rd party body shops with paint issues.
• Maintain PPE and paint supplies for Body Repair.
• Mask vehicles to minimize overspray.
• Test and validate new refinishing tooling.
• Work with paint manufacturers on Lucid-approved processes.
• Maintain safety standards for hazardous materials.
• Collaborate with Training and Publications departments.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
