Job summary

Regions Bank in Gulfport, MS is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to direct origination of residential loans through a branch network. You will complete applications, evaluate credit, and maintain customer contact while ensuring compliance with lending practices.

This commission-based role offers opportunities to develop new business with Realtors, builders, and financial planners, cross-sell bank products, and participate in incentive plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year mortgage lending experience with proven production.
• Experience developing external business via referral partners (realtors, builders, planners).

Responsibilities

• Completes mortgage applications for submission to loan processing and underwriting.
• Evaluates loan requests, analyzes financial data, and determines qualification of collateral and customer credit history.
• Maintains contact with loan customers, communicating progress of loan and obtaining required documentation.
