Job summary

Sonic Automotive's Audi Central Houston location is seeking a Service Advisor to join our service team. You will be the liaison between customers and technicians, ensuring accurate diagnoses, timely repairs, and outstanding service.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of experience in automotive service advising, strong communication, solid automotive knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license and authorization to work in the USA are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and basic technical understanding.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with service department operations and procedures.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Listen to customers' concerns and document vehicle issues.
• Provide explanations of services and estimated costs.
• Schedule appointments and manage service bay availability.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely repairs.
• Update customers on vehicle status and timelines.
• Create and maintain service records and prepare invoices.
• Process payments and handle billing inquiries.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
