Job summary

Logan Health in Kalispell, MT is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide basic nursing care under RN/LPN supervision, deliver excellent patient service, and support administrative tasks in the assigned area.

This role requires Montana CNA certification, at least one year of CNA experience, CPR, EMR proficiency, and Phlebotomy capability. You will work nights, coordinate patient priorities, and protect patient privacy while collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Current Montana CNA certificate required.
• Minimum of one year CNA experience required.
• Current CPR certification as applicable to assigned area(s).
• HUC experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in acute care preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR software.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Phlebotomy: current phlebotomy experience or coursework + test.
• Strong organizational, communication, and confidentiality skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment or independently.

Responsibilities

• Performs administrative tasks in assigned area(s) in an organized and accurate manner.
• Delivers basic and advanced patient care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Coordinates workloads and patient priorities with the care team.
• Assists in HUC duties and emphasizes customer service.
• Monitors vital signs and informs RN/LPN of abnormalities.
• Maintains patient privacy per Logan Health policies.
• Restocks rooms and maintains equipment for safety and cleanliness.
• Upholds all customer service policies while caring for patients.
• Demonstrates knowledge of safety policies and cost containment.
• Phlebotomy: performs venipuncture and labels specimens accurately.
• Verifies patient identification and handles test orders per protocol.
• Maintains punctual attendance as scheduled.
