Our formal Summer Internship Program is ten (10) weeks (June 2nd - August 5th), part-time* (<30 hrs./wk.) and provides in-person opportunities in Fort Worth, TX.

We’re looking for energetic college students, entering your Junior or Senior year for the following role:

Digital Content Intern

Overview: As a Digital Content Intern, you'll spend ten weeks working alongside our Digital Content Specialist and the broader digital marketing team, getting hands-on exposure to how a fast-growing insurance and financial services firm builds its digital presence. You'll help propose, produce, and support content that promotes brand awareness, showcases our award-winning culture, and supports sales and marketing initiatives. This internship is designed as a learning experience: you'll contribute real work to real projects while building practical skills in content creation, web content support, and graphic design. No prior industry experience required, just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Content Support – Assist the Digital Content Specialist and marketing team with content marketing initiatives, including:
  • Helping create content for digital assets and supporting collateral development for sales initiatives and stakeholder events.
  • Sitting in on team check-ins to learn how marketing projects are prioritized, scoped, and tracked.
  • Getting exposure to the team's project management platform, including how in-bound requests are triaged and tracked through completion.
• Web Content Exposure – Get introduced to website content support using WordPress, including landing pages, web forms, and other digital assets, such as:
  • Assisting with research into website content gaps and basic SEO considerations for product pages.
  • Helping build simple forms for internal and external audiences (RSVP forms, surveys, lead-generation forms).
  • Supporting content updates for location-specific pages.
• Graphic Design – Assist in designing graphical elements for marketing assets, including collateral, social media, digital assets, and website visuals, under the guidance of the creative team.
• Support the creative team's review process by helping check content for accuracy and quality.
• Take part in a final internship project or presentation summarizing your contributions and what you learned.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a BS or equivalent degree in communications, advertising, public relations, journalism, graphic design, marketing, or a related field.
• Rising junior or senior standing preferred.
• No professional experience required; coursework, personal projects, or a portfolio (even informal) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, or Illustrator) is a plus.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Interest in content management (i.e., WordPress).
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus, but not required.
• Interest in writing for digital audiences (website, social, email).

Compensation: $20 per hour
