Job summary

Higginbotham offers a Summer Internship Program for a Digital Content Intern in Fort Worth, TX. The program runs ten weeks (June 2nd - August 5th), part-time (<30 hrs/wk) with in-person opportunities. You'll work with the Digital Content Specialist and marketing team to create content, support WordPress web content, and assist with graphic design.

No prior industry experience is required; curiosity, creativity, and willingness to learn are valued as you gain practical skills in content creation, web content support, and design.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BS or equivalent degree in communications, advertising, public relations, journalism, graphic design, marketing, or related field.
• Rising junior or senior standing preferred.
• No professional experience required; coursework or a portfolio is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Content Support — assist with content marketing initiatives and collateral development.
• Web Content Exposure — learn website content support using WordPress and basic SEO considerations.
• Graphic Design — assist in designing marketing assets under guidance of the creative team.
• Quality review — help ensure content accuracy and participate in final internship project/presentation.
