The Vicariate Hispanic Ministry Coordinator, under the leadership of the Diocesan Director of Hispanic Ministry, belongs to a Team that shares the mission to oversee and support all areas of Hispanic ministry within the Diocese of Charlotte, while assisting the Pastors and parish communities in developing, coordinating, and administering an effective ministry for the Catholic Hispanic community. The Coordinator is tasked with fostering a greater understanding of the needs of a multi‑cultural faith community; and providing leadership formation to members at the local level involved in this ministry with the goal of maintaining and fortifying the Catholic faith. The Hispanic Ministry Coordinator aids the Pastors of the Vicariate in the implementation of the USCCB’s National Hispanic Pastoral Plan.
