St. Paul Public Housing Agency is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and janitorial duties in hi-rise buildings to ensure resident safety and asset integrity.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from high school or GED.
• 1 year of relevant building/grounds maintenance experience or relevant education.
• Must have valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning in hi-rise areas including cleaning, dusting, washing windows, and floor care.
• Prepares hi-rise units for rental including cleaning appliances and minor electrical/plumbing repairs.
• Responds to emergency calls and after-hours work orders including floods and other alarms.
• Performs grounds maintenance around hi-rise buildings: snow removal, trimming, mowing, and landscaping.
• Performs preventative maintenance on electrical, plumbing, heating systems and appliances.
• Operates vehicles/equipment such as snowplows, riding mowers, and power tools.
• Maintains records, reports, logs, and inventories; completes daily paperwork.
