Job summary

Peninsula Plastics is seeking a Hi-Lo Operator for Auburn Hills, MI. This full-time manual labor role covers 1st and 2nd shifts with hourly pay between $19.00 and $22.00, plus a shift premium for 2nd shift.

Responsibilities include material handling, shipping/receiving, and helping production. Candidates must have Hi-Lo experience and certification, be able to lift 35–40 lbs, and work in a loud industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Hi-Lo operating experience and accredited certification required.
• Experience in a manufacturing facility, plant operations, factory, or similar setting preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 35–40 pounds.
• Ability to work in a loud industrial environment with extreme heat.
• Good verbal and written communication; able to follow instructions.
• Must be able to multitask and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-shift inspections and check Hi-Lo for faults.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Operate a Hi-Lo safely in a busy manufacturing facility.
• Handle shipping and receiving tasks as assigned.
• Move materials to and from machines and to designated areas.
• Assist with inventory management as needed.
• Unload deliveries and relocate goods to proper areas.
• Stack/unstack goods onto shelves or pallets.
• Coordinate with Plant Supervisor to meet production needs.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervision.
